As of January 21st, our data provider has been out of service. We are working on getting this rectified, but we are also preparing for the 2020 MLB season. Therefore, it may take additional time to rectify.
In the meantime, our previous data collection in terms of 3PT shooting in various VMI Ranges, etc. is strong enough to provide a strong measure for our Power Index. New and unique players such as Zion Williamson are the only ones which will quickly change their teams' Power Index and we may be behind the curve on those teams over the next few days/weeks.
So, as we work on that issue, we are also preparing for Season Openers of the MLB with a new website we are excited about. It is a culmination of modern metrics in baseball and VMI data from effects of traveling in and out of various baseball climates and conditions. We have been studying and working on a win-loss and over/under pick selection vs the Las Vegas Odds for the past 4 years. As I have mentioned on our BaseballVMI website, this new web site will allow members to see our picks which have proven to be 63.38% winners selecting every game in MLB over the past 4 years.
We also will identify the games in MLB which have proven to be higher percentage win picks with 3 categories of games whereby the win percents exceed 71%; 77% and 87% over the past 4 years. Although those pick will cost more to buy, they may be opportunities to bump the wager to a level that makes sense for certain members.
We intend to introduce this website sometime prior to the opening of the 2020 MLB season.
